Tom Ewing, MD a practicing Podiatrist and a Sports Medicine Specialist, is the Chief Medical Officer for PeaceHealth Medical Group. As Chief Medical Officer he provides clinical leadership to PeaceHealth Medical Group including the clinical divisions of Behavioral Health Services, Adult and Family Medicine, Specialties, and Pediatrics. He is involved in strategic planning related to PHMG’s role in the community, Region and System and leading the integration of clinical quality. Dr. Ewing serves on the Board of Directors for Oregon Health Care Quality Corporation whose mission is to improve the quality of health care in Oregon through community-wide collaboration. Dr. Ewing received his medical degree from Washington University School of Medicine and served his residency at Medical University of South Carolina. Dr. Ewing enjoys playing the bass and "outdoor adventures.
