Originally born in Korea, I immigrated to the United States in 1968 and was blessed with citizenship. I graduated from University of San Francisco with a bachelor's of science in biology. I attended and graduated from UC Irvine School of Medicine. Internship and residency was completed at the Children's Hospital of Los Angeles. I have four children who are now adults. I am proud to say that all are successful professionals in their respective fields. My wife is also a doctor, she has a PhD in education. She is a registered nurse and is on the teaching staff for the California State Colleges.
