Dr. Moore’s interests include clinical gastroenterology, inflammatory bowel disease, and liver disease. He has trained in diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy and ERCP. He is a southern native who has been in private practice for 32 years in the Charlotte area. He previously served as the president of the medical staff at CMC Mercy and the Novant Huntersville Medical Center. Taking an active role in the medical community, Dr. Moore is a member of the American Gastroenterological Association (AGA), the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (ASGE), the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation of America (CCFA), the Mecklenburg County Medical Society (MCMS), the North Carolina Medical Society (NCMS), and the North Carolina Society of Gastroenterology (NCSG). Dr. Moore and his wife have two sons. They enjoy traveling, boating, golfing, and following their team– the Carolina Panthers.
