Dr. Heilman is a cardiologist at Monument Health Heart and Vascular Institute. He received his medical degree from St. Louis University School of Medicine. He completed both his Residency in Internal Medicine and Fellowship in Cardiovascular Disease at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center in Denver, CO. Dr. Heilman is board-certified in Cardiology, Nuclear Cardiology and Cardiac Rhythm Device Therapy. His broad experience includes Automatic Implantable Cardioverter Defibrillator (AICD) and pacemaker surgery and management, including subcutaneous AICDs (S-ICD) and Micra leadless pacemakers. Other special interests he has are pulmonary hypertension diagnosis and treatment, and caring for congestive heart failure patients. He is proficient in chronic catheterization and non-invasive cardiology.
