Dr. John A. Mirro, Jr. has been practicing gastroenterology in the region since 1976. He joined Internal Medicine Associates in 19?? after completing a Gastroenterology Fellowship at Michael Reese Hospital in Chicago. He completed his Internship/Residency at Michael Reese Hospital and graduated from medical school at the Indiana University of Medicine in Bloomington. He obtained his undergraduate degree in biology at Loyola University in Chicago. Dr. Mirro is board-certified in both Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. He holds faculty appointment at Indiana University School of Medicine. Dr. Mirro has hospital affiliations at The Methodist Hospitals, St. Anthony's Medical Center in Crown Point, and St. Mary Medical Center in Hobart.
