John A. Johnson, MD is board certified in family medicine and fellowship trained in primary care sports medicine, and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians. He has special interests in sports medicine and musculoskeletal disorders. Dr. Johnson earned his bachelor's degree from the U.S. Military Academy in 1976 and his medical degree from Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences in 1985. He completed his residency at Silas B. Hays Army Community Hospital in Fort Ord, California in 1988 and his sports medicine fellowship at Arlington Sports Medicine Institute in Arlington, Virginia in 1994.
