Dr. John Butler earned his medical degree at the University of Illinois College of Medicine. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Northwestern University and his Pulmonary and Critical Care fellowship at Indiana University. He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and in Pulmonary Medicine. He is a founding physician of Pacific Pulmonary Vascular Institute. While he has significant interest in general pulmonary medicine including interstitial lung disease, he also brings a tremendous amount of expertise to the growing field of pulmonary artery hypertension.
