Brief Intro

I am an Air Force veteran having served six years active duty and five reserves as an officer in the medical corps.I am married and have four adult children and three grandchildren. My wife and I are active in our church and international Christian mission work in the fields of education and medicine. We have served short-term in the Gambia, Senegal, Cameroon, Russia, and Mongolia. Outside of work I enjoy, hiking, reading, singing, travel, amateur forestry, and motorcycle riding (Harley Davidson).I believe a good physician needs to be patient and an attentive listener. I strive to educate my patients so they can be engaged in their care including making informed, shared decisions. I am diligent in reading the medical literature and attending continuing medical education courses in order to keep up to date on the most recent advances in my specialties, thereby providing my patients with the best care.
