Dr. Wang graduated from Columbia University College of Dental Medicine in New York City after completing his undergraduate studies from the University of Texas at Austin. While in NYC, he longed to return home to Texas after dental school and was fortunate to have this opportunity when he entered the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio. During the course of residency, Dr. Wang graduated from the School of Medicine with a M.D. from the University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio, as well as completing rotations in general surgery and anesthesia. He is a member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, San Antonio Christian Medical and Dental Associations, and the Nueces Valley District Dental Society. In his spare time, Dr. Wang spends his time at the gym, deep sea fishing, then subsequently in the kitchen cooking Taiwanese food.
