Dr. St. Pierre is a board certified obstetrician and gynecologist, who began his practice in New Orleans in 1972. He attended undergraduate and medical school at Louisiana State University, graduating in 1966. He completed his internship at Charity Hospital in 1967 and a residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Louisiana State University in 1970. He served for two years as a major in the United States Air Force at Little Rock Air Force Hospital. He returned to New Orleans in 1970 to begin his private practice. Dr. St. Pierre has a special interest in gynecologic surgery, including hysteroscopy and laparoscopic surgery. He also has an interest in chronic pelvic pain, providing testing for interstitial cystitis of the bladder. He is an active member in several medical associations including the Central Association of Obstetrics and Gynecology and the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He is a Past President of the Southern Gynecology and Obstetrical Society and of the Greater New Orleans Obstetrical and Gynecology Society. Additionally, he is an active participant in various community organizations. He is an executive committee member of the Board of Christian Health Ministries and a member of the Board of Strive, Inc.
