Jennifer D. Son, MD, has joined the MedStar Breast Health Program at both MedStar Montgomery Medical Center and MedStar Georgetown University Hospital. Dr. Son’s areas of clinical interest include breast surgery, intraoperative radiation therapy, surgical oncology, and treatment of both benign and malignant breast disease. Some other areas of clinical expertise include nipple-sparing mastectomy, skin and simple mastectomy, lumpectomy, cancer risk reduction surgery, sentinel node biopsy using magseed and wire, and oncoplastics.
