Brief Intro

Dr. Jeffrey Monson doesn't have a lengthy explanation for why he became a doctor. He was simply fascinated by the ability to heal people. He wanted to understand how a person could apply technology and knowledge to the healing process. After earning a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Washington in Seattle, Dr. Monson moved to St. Louis where he attended Saint Louis University Medical School. Upon earning his medical degree, Dr. Monson moved back to Washington State to complete a surgical internship and a general surgery residency within the University of Washington School of Medicine system. It was here that Dr. Monson gained valuable experience in gastrointestinal and colorectal surgery with a focus on surgical oncology. Dr. Monson is married with two swonderfult children. When not at the clinic he enjoys hiking and camping with his family. He also enjoys taking advantage of the Northwest winters to go telemark skiing.
