Dr. Jones received his medical degree from the University of Washington School of Medicine, Seattle, Washington. This was followed by an internship and residency at the University of Minnesota Hospitals & Clinics, Minneapolis, Minnesota. He also completed a gastroenterology fellowship at the University of Utah Hospitals in Salt Lake City, Utah. Dr. Jones is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. A patient admitted to Holy Family for medical reasons (not including surgery or childbirth) who does not have a primary care physician or a primary care physician who practices at Holy Family, will be assigned a hospitalist who manages care for the duration of the hospital stay. Hospitalists work out of the hospital and do not see patients in an office setting.
