Dr. Isaacs enjoys a well-earned reputation as one of the Valley’s top oncologists. He currently chairs the Cancer Committee at Scottsdale North, and serves on various other committees at St. Joseph’s Hospital & Medical Center, Good Samaritan Hospital, and the Scottsdale Healthcare System. Regularly featured in Phoenix Magazine’s annual list of Top Doctors, Dr. Isaacs goes out of his way to make his patients feel cared for and respected. “My vision for the practice is to deliver personalized care,” he says. “We do everything we can on-site, we make ourselves accessible, and we listen to people rather than instruct them.” Dr. Isaacs says he limits the number of patients he takes so he can spend more time with them. “Having too many patients makes treatment impersonal,” he says. “It also makes the waiting room seem like Grand Central Station.” For Dr. Isaacs, a bright, healing environment is essential for effective care. “Susan Goldwater Levine donated the beautiful Goldwater prints of the old southwest in the lobby, and patients contributed the other paintings, photographs, and textile works,” he says. “Everything on the walls has a story behind it, which adds to the sense of community we all feel here.”
