Dr. Wilkins joined Coastal Orthopedics in 1996. Originally from Murrells Inlet, South Carolina, Dr. Wilkins received his bachelor of science degree in biology from the University of Michigan. From there, he went on to obtain his medical degree from Louisiana State University. Dr. Wilkins completed a residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, Michigan. When not seeing patients in clinic, Dr. Wilkins serves as Medical Director at Waccamaw Hospital in the Acute Rehabilitation Unit. Dr. Wilkins is certified by the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
