Jeffrey A. Sorkin, M.D., is a native of the Boston area , graduating with a degree in biology from Brandeis University. After graduating from the University of Massachusetts Medical School, he completed his residency in ophthalmology at the University of Florida and a fellowship in pediatric ophthalmology at Emory University.
Since 2000, Dr. Sorkin, a board-certified ophthalmologist, has practiced in Peabody. He specializes in all facets of pediatric and adult ophthalmology, including adjustable suturing for strabismus, and disorders of the lacrimal system.
Dr. Sorkin also maintains an active contact lens practice, including treating astigmatism with toric lenses, and presbyopia with bifocal contact lenses.
Dr. Sorkin is available for consultation in all areas of pediatric ophthalmology and adult strabismus, including the management of diplopia (double vision) and cosmetic ocular deviations. He is also available for appointments for routine eye examinations and contact lens evaluations.
