Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare:At a young age, my parents instilled in me a strong work ethic. Growing up, I assisted my father in his veterinarian practice. I quickly realized that I very much enjoyed the practice of medicine, but sought to develop human connections. OB/GYN gives me the opportunity to give high quality healthcare to women of all ages, to support women during difficult times, to perform their surgeries, and to partake in the miracle of delivering their babies. What I want my patients to know about me:I have a very calming and empathetic demeanor. I want to ensure my patients are well informed and always feel comfortable. I treat my patients like family and strive to give them the highest quality, most up-to-date, compassionate care. What I do when I'm not seeing patients:The highlights of my every day are my husband and my twin boys. I greatly enjoy get togethers with family and friends, spending time at the beach, reading, cooking, gardening and taking long walks.
