Dr. Javidan attended The Chicago Medical School for his medical education. After six years training in Urology at Henry Ford Hospital, he completed his fellowship in Urological Oncology at the University of Michigan. He later relocated to Sacramento, and has developed a thriving Urological Oncology practice. Dr. Javidan currently serves as the Chief of Urology for Mercy General Hospital and the Medical Director of Robotic Surgery at Mercy San Juan Medical Center. He recently joined Nivano Health Medical Group in March 2015. Dr. Javidan treats a wide variety of urological conditions, but maintains a passion for treating all urological malignancies such as prostate, kidney, and bladder cancer.
Dr. Javidan enjoys educating his patients as well as learning from them. He finds that the extra time spent with each individual helps to ensure better understanding and patient compliance with the plan or care. He believes that every person is unique, and therefore, takes a special interest in tailoring his treatment of each individual patient utilizing a multidisciplinary approach. In his spare time, he enjoys down-hill skiing, traveling, gardening, and reading.
