He completed subspecialty fellowship training in sports medicine and shoulder surgery at Tria Orthopedic Center/University of Minnesota. While here he was involved in care of athletes at all levels including, high school, collegiate, and professionals across a wide range of sports. He has provided special assignment coverage to athletic organizations due to his expertise in sports medicine including NCAA and NHL hockey, Major League Baseball, X-games Minneapolis and a number of other community events. Dr. Holt is certified by American Osteopathic Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons and actively performs orthopaedic research related to his specialties.
