Brief Intro

After completing his Master of Science degree in biochemistry at the Georgia Institute of Technology, Dr. Tippett earned his medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia School of Medicine and completed his internship and internal medicine residency at MCG, becoming board certified in internal medicine. He then went into private practice in Augusta for more than 20 years. In 2005, Dr. Tippett brought his practice to the Greensboro area as part of what is now Georgia Regents Medical Associates, and he joined St. Marys Medical Group in 2012. He now practices Internal Medicine at the office of Middle Georgia Medical Associates while serving as the Medical Director of the clinic. We plan to continue to expand the medical staff at Middle Georgia Medical Associates by attracting highly qualified specialists and recruiting Board Certified primary care physicians. We anticipate these affiliated specialists will use their procedural and surgical skills locally in the new state-of-the art St. Marys Good Samaritan Hospital.
