Dr. Ronald Smith was born in Whiteville, NC. He received his undergraduate degree in Zoology from Clemson University in Clemson, South Carolina and his medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, South Carolina. He completed his surgical internship at University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky. He then completed his urology residency at University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, Mississippi. Dr. Smith is a member of the Greenville Medical Society, American Urological Association, American Board of Urology, SC Medical Association, and SC Chapter of American College of Surgeons. Dr. Smith served as a Major in the U.S. Air Force Medical Corps at Maxwell, AFB. AL.
