Dr. Scarborough received his medical degree from the University of Alabama. He completed his internship, general surgeon residency, and served as an American Cancer Society clinical oncology fellow at Oregon Health & Science University in Portland. Dr. Scarborough is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a diplomat of the American Board of Surgery. Dr. Scarborough has practiced in Vancouver since 1978. He was a member of The Columbia Surgical Group until those surgeons joined the Surgery Department of The Vancouver Clinic in 1997.
