Dr. Hollowell has taught spine surgeons throughout the U.S. and from other countries. He has published numerous book chapters and scientific articles in leading spine surgery textbooks and journals. He has taught spine surgery courses for the American Association of Neurological Surgeons and the Joint Spine Section to Neurosurgeons on techniques of spinal instrumentation, reconstruction and fusion. Dr. Hollowell practiced at the Medical College of Wisconsin as an Associate Professor and Associate Program Director, where he trained Neurosurgery Residents and Spine Surgery Fellows.
