Dr. Merrill earned his medical degree from the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond, Virginia and completed his family practice residency at Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital in Greensboro, North Carolina. He is board certified in family medicine and sports medicine by the American Board of Family Medicine. Practicing medicine since 1991, Dr. Merrill specializes in treating short-term illnesses and injuries for all ages, including sports and work-related injuries. He also performs sports and work-related exams. Dr. Merrill was certified as an Aviation Medical Examiner in 2002.
