Dr. James Speicher is a thoracic surgeon at the East Carolina Heart Institute, specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of conditions like lung cancer, esophageal cancer, gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), achalasia, paraesophageal hernia, tracheal disease and mediastinal disease.

When he's not at work, Dr. Speicher enjoys spending quality time with his wife and children, exercising, and playing the guitar.
