Dr. J. David Rice was born in Greenville, SC. He completed his undergraduate degree in biology at Wofford College in Spartanburg, South Carolina. He received his medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina. His postgraduate education was performed as an intern in surgery at Louisiana State Medical Center, New Orleans, Louisiana, and as a junior resident in surgery and urology, also at Louisiana State Medical Center. He is a member of the Greenville County Medical Society, American Urological Association, American Board of Urology and SC Medical Association.
