Jack L. Seaquist, M.D. specializes in general orthopedics and surgery with special interest in joint replacement and sports medicine. He is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgeons and was the first physician in the Austin area to perform the breakthrough surgery using Carticel.
Dr. Seaquist has been in private practice in Austin since 1977. During his tenure here, he has served on the Board of Directors at the Seton Healthcare Network where he was also a member of the Seton Credentialing Committee.
A graduate of Princeton University, Dr. Seaquist received his medical training at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. He completed his internship at Colorado Medical Center in Denver, Colorado and served his residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Colorado. During his residency he received additional training at Rancho Los Amigos Hospital at the University of Southern California, Carrie Tingley Hospital for Crippled Children at the University of New Mexico and Fitzsimmons Army Medical Center in Denver.
Dr. Seaquist is a member of several professional organizations including the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgery, the Texas Medical Association, the American Medical Association, the Austin Orthopaedic Association, the North American Association of Arthroscopists, the Hip and Knee Surgeons and the Texas Orthopaedics Association.
