Brief Intro

My practices in Beverly, Boston and Manhattan are dedicated to providing the highest level of care with cutting-edge technology and in a friendly and personable setting. I want my patients to feel comfortable and to be treated the way I want to be treated as a patient at the doctor’s office. It is the small details that help people feel comfortable before and after their appointments. When patients call my office, a real person answers the phone. We know how valuable patients’ time is, so we keep to our schedule. And I provide all the information and recommendations patients need to decide on the best course of treatment. I love my job—interacting with people, working with my hands doing surgery, and offering relief and resolution to my patients’ problems. I specialize in problems of the eyelids, brows, lacrimal system (tear production and drainage) and orbit (space behind the eye). Recent advances in my field include the use of minimally invasive and microsurgery. The diagnostic and therapeutic services I offer include: correction of droopy eyelids using laser and radiofrequency modalities to minimize recovery time and discomfort; no-scar eyelid lift (also known as blepharoplasty) for cosmetic rejuvenation of the eyelids; treatment of ectropion, entropion and eyelid and orbital cancers; and evaluation of thyroid orbitopathy (also known as thyroid eye disease). I also offer several options for treating lacrimal (tearing) problems, including laser and endoscopic dacryocystorhinostomy. In addition, I am experienced in Asian eyelid rejuvenation—creating a double eyelid using several different techniques including DST and incision methods. My outside interests include photography, sailing and spending quality time with family.
