Dr. Howard J. Lomax has been a practicing dentist since 1996. Â After graduating from Lamar University in 1991 with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, he chose to pursue a career in dentistry. Â In 1996, Dr. Lomax received his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Texas Dental Branch in Houston. Â Immediately upon graduation, Dr. Lomax began as a practicing dentistry in West Houston and Katy. Â He currently holds membership in the American Dental Association, the Texas Dental Association and the Greater Houston Dental Society. Â Dr. Lomax has given his time and commitment to the GHDS by serving as a mediating doctor on the West Houston Peer Review Committee and by participation in their annual dental convention as host and class captain. Â Not only has he utilized his credentials through his professional organization, but he has also worked as a consulting dentist for two dental insurances firms; United Concordia and Cigna. Â In 2001, Dr. Lomax completed the requirements needed to obtain a dental license in Arizona. Â Dr. Lomax is married to his wife Lori, whom is a dental hygenist.
