Hongjing Tan, MD, PhD, specializes in physical medicine and rehabilitation, also called physiatry. Dr. Tan specializes in the treatment of musculoskeletal problems, management of pain (especially neck and back pain), stroke rehabilitation, occupational injuries, sports medicine and electrodiagnostic studies. Dr. Tan began his medical education at the Capital University of Medical Sciences in Beijing, China, where he received his medical degree. He earned his PhD in pain research at the University of Wisconsin - Madison, and completed his residency at the University of Wisconsin Hospitals & Clinics in Madison.
Dr. Tan is board certified and is a member of the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, the Wisconsin State Medical Society and the Oneida - Vilas County Medical Society.
