Dr. Fullerton earned her medical degree from Louisiana State University School of Medicine. She then went on to complete a residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the University of Virginia Hospitals, being selected as Chief Resident in her final year. She subsequently completed a fellowship in Sports Medicine at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston.Dr. Fullerton is double-boarded in Sports Medicine as well as Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. She holds the rank of fellow in the American College of Sports Medicine (FACSM) and in the Academy of Wilderness Medicine (FAWM). She is actively involved in the teaching of residents, medical students, other physicians, and outdoors people. She serves as faculty advisor for the Wilderness Medicine Interest Group at Texas A&M School of Medicine.At Baylor Scott & White Health, Dr. Fullerton treats adults and adolescents for musculoskeletal conditions, focusing on biomechanics and function. She serves as medical director for large sporting events in the Austin area, including the Cap10K and the ATX Open. When away from work, Dr. Fullerton can be found outdoors. She is involved in scouting, running, and hiking.
