I believe that patient care should be personalized, and I strive to provide the most up-to date-care that is tailored to a particular individuals needs. I always encourage patients to take an active role in the decision-making process. Our participation in Cancer and Leukemia Group B, a national clinical research group sponsored by the National Cancer Institute, allows us to collaborate on clinical research studies aimed toward reducing morbidity and mortality from cancer, relating biological characteristics of cancer to clinical outcomes, and developing new strategies for the early detection and prevention of cancer.
