My medical school training was done in the Midwest. I graduated from medical school at the University of Minnesota, and did my residency training in Wisconsin. Although the Midwest is beautiful, I was drawn back to California because my family lives here. Many people are surprised to find out that the harsh Midwest winters, although they can be long, was not what motivated me to return to my home state...I have lived here in California most of my life, and consider this to be my home. I enjoy the four seasons, and so I do look to the snow and the mountains in the winter time. During the summer, I enjoy the outdoors and I like traveling to far-away lands.
