Dr. Guillermo R. Pechero, is Board certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery since 2000 and a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. As a proud native of the Rio Grande Valley, he graduated from the University of Texas Pan American (UTPA) with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry in 1983. He graduated and received his M.D. in 1992 from Albany College in New York. In 1997, after receiving his Fellowship from McMaster University Spine and Joint, he began practicing at Rio Grande Valley Orthopaedic Center in 1998. Dr. Pechero’s list of accolades include: Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, Fellow of the North American Spine Society, Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.
