Dr. Heroman is a 1969 graduate of Louisiana State University and a 1973 Doctoral Graduate pf Louisiana State University School of Medicine in Shreveport. He first completed a Family Practice Residency at St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Dayton, Ohio and then an OB-GYN Residency through the Wright State University centered at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, Ohio. He is Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a "Fellow" (FACOG) in the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. Dr. Heroman has been certified in Microscopic Surgery, Advanced Laparoscopic Surgery, Laser Surgery, Endometrial Ablation, Bladder Suspensions, Pelvic Support Surgery, GYN Robotics Surgery, ROBOTICS Hysterectomy, and office OB/GYN Ultrasound. He is married, has three children, and is a grandfather. He enjoys LSU and Saints football, LSU baseball, Mardi Gras, reading, and spending time with family and friends. He is a Life Loyal Sig (Sigma Chi, a Christian fraternity), and is a member of St. Luke's Church.
