I grew up in California, and moved several times as an Army flight surgeon before settling in Washington State. I have the most wonderful spouse and partner in the world, Alicia, and we have beautiful children we learn from every day. With family, extended family, and a Shih Tzu puppy, our lives are full, but we always have the energy and commitment to help others. Because of multiple sports injuries in college, I spent a lot of time with sports medicine physicians. That experience spurred my interest in occupational medicine.
