Brief Intro

Dr. Colman received his medical degree from Tulane University School of Medicine and completed his internship and residency in Dermatology at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation. He has attended many post-graduate seminars and preceptorships in the use of lasers in Dermatology. He is board-certified by the American Board of Dermatology and successfully completed a voluntary re-certification by the Dermatology Board in 2009. Dr. Colman is also board-certified in Dermatopathology. He is a member in good standing of the American Academy of Dermatology, the Pacific Dermatologic Association, the International Society of Dermatopathology, the American Medical Association, the California Medical Association, and the Los Angeles County Medical Association. Dr. Colman is a member of the staffs of both St. John's Hospital and Santa Monica-UCLA Hospital, and served for several years as Chief of Dermatology at St. John's. He has been in private practice in Dermatology in Santa Monica at the same location for the past 32 years.
