Gregory Clark, DPM, heads the podiatry division in the department of orthopedic surgery at Scripps Clinic. In practice since 1986, Dr. Clark can assist patients with a variety of forefoot, midfoot and ankle conditions, including bunions, corns, diabetic feet, nail and skin conditions, neuromas and other issues. He works with patients to develop a treatment plan that will ease pain, heal injuries and help prevent future problems, with a goal of correcting deformities and conditions which limit their lifestyles because of pain. Dr. Clark's practice focuses on surgical and non-surgical foot care, with an emphasis on correcting foot abnormalities that prevent people from participating fully in their lives. Additionally, he is an accomplished sports medicine practitioner who is dedicated to helping older adults stay active, and active adult athletes remain active. He strongly believes in providing care collaboratively with his patients, working together to resolve their foot concerns. By providing each patient with extensive information, he empowers them to make informed decisions about their care. In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Clark is active in the medical community as a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association, the California Podiatric Medical Association and the San Diego Podiatric Medical Association. He was also the recipient of the William H. and Ruth Black Employee Achievement Award. Outside of his practice, Dr. Clark pursues a lifelong passion for physical fitness and surfing.
