Technical Expertise: Dr. Watchmaker is board certified and fellowship trained in surgery of the hand. He is asked to lecture and teach hand anatomy and has published book chapters and research papers on topics ranging from pediatric hand injuries to fractures to nerve injuries.
Patient Education: We feel that educating our patients on their conditions helps them make the best choices whether it be rest, therapy, splints/casts, medications, injections or surgery. One-on-one doctor patient time is how we make sure we are providing the information our patients need.
Cost of Care: The State of Wisconsin healthcare database as well as the National Medicare Database identified our patients' costs as significantly less than the state and national averages.
Convenience of Care: We have an office both north and south of Milwaukee and work at several hospitals as well.
Referral: Most of our patients come referred from our former patients, co-workers, family members and the like. We work with physicians in the Columbia St. Mary's, Aurora, and Wheaton healthcare systems as well and look forward to seeing you for your hand needs.
