Dr. Adofo earned her medical degree from Albert Einstein College of Medicine, her Master of Public Health from Columbia University and completed her residency at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. She has been recognized repeatedly for excellence in both resident teaching and patient care, as well as for her collaborative efforts with the March of Dimes to reduce infant mortality. Dr. Adofo is the recipient of the Essence magazine award for Favorite Obstetrician/Gynecologist. She speaks two Ghanaian languages and understands conversational French.
