Dr. Glenn Kaufman is Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology. He is a Clinical Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at North Shore University Hospital and New York University Medical College. Dr. Kaufman OBGYN Dr. Kaufman received his undergraduate degree from Colgate University in 1977. He spent one year of research at the Roswell Park Cancer Institute in Buffalo, New York. He attended medical school at the University of Health Sciences, Chicago Medical School where he graduated with honors as a member of Alpha Omega Alpha in 1982. He completed his residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at North Shore University Hospital where he served as Chief Resident in 1986. Dr. Kaufman has been in private practice in the Great Neck/Manhasset community for over twenty years. Dr. Glenn Kaufman OBGYNHe has co-authored several research publications and has been featured on WCBS-TV and Channel 12 News. He is actively involved in the training of medical students and resident physicians at the North Shore/ Long Island Jewish Health System. He was one of the original physicians involved with introducing advanced Gynecological Laparoscopic surgical procedures to North Shore University Hospital. He has special interests in operative hysteroscopy and laparoscopic surgery, treatment of abnormal uterine bleeding and chronic pelvic pain. He also focuses on treatment of recurrent miscarriage, infertility and high risk obstetrics. He has introduced cosmetic services to Great Neck Obstetrics and Gynecology including Botox cosmetic, laser hair removal and labial and vaginal cosmetic procedures. Dr. Kaufman and the staff at Great Neck Obstetrics and Gynecology pride themselves on providing personal, comprehensive and compassionate care to all of their patients.
