Dr. Harper received his medical degree from the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston and completed an internship in General Surgery as well as his residency in Neurosurgery at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. Dr. Harper then held his own practice in Santa Cruz, California and served as a clinical instructor at the University of California San Francisco Department of Neurosurgery before returning to Texas. He currently serves as Chief of Surgery, Co-chair of the Ethics Committee and Medical Staff Secretary at Seton Medical Center Williamson as well as Clinical Assistant Professor of Neurosurgery with Texas A&M College of Medicine. Dr. Harper is a board-certified Diplomate of the American Board of Neurological Surgery. He is also a member of the American Medical Association, the Texas Medical Association, the California Medical Association, the American Association of Neurological Surgeons, the Congress of Neurological Surgeons and the Society of Lateral Access Surgery.
