Dr. Besch was born in Glen Ridge, N.J. He attended George Washington University Medical School in Washington, DC and completed his residency at George Washington University Hospital. He completed his fellowship in cardiology at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, DC Dr. Besch is board certified in cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology. Dr. Besch is a member of the active medical staffs at Inova Heart and Vascular Institute at Fairfax Hospital, Inova Alexandria Hospital, Inova Mount Vernon Hospital and Potomac Hospital. Dr. Besch's primary interests in cardiology include coronary interventions, echocardiography and pacemakers.
