Dr. Frederick A. Coville has been a Plastic and Reconstructive Plastic Surgeon for over 25 years. Dr. Fred Coville, born in Brooklyn, New York, accelerated through school to begin his university studies at the age of sixteen. Upon receiving his Bachelor's degree in biology, he went on to complete medical school before his twenty-fifth birthday. Working his way through medical school and residency, he pursued his first love â€“ which has always been Plastic Surgery. After medical school, he spent his post-doctoral training years in his hometown, New York City. He fulfilled his residency training in General Surgery at Maimonides Medical Center and then went on to complete a Fellowship in Critical Burn Care before moving on to his next plateau at the prestigious Mount Sinai Medical Center in Manhattan. There he completed a full Specialty Residency in Plastic Surgery, even serving as Chief Resident in Plastic Surgery for two years out of his three. â€œDr. Fredâ€, as he is known to his patients and colleagues around the globe, also practiced at the exclusive and private Bougainvillea Clinic in the British Virgin Islands for many years before relocating to London with his wife. There he became known throughout the United Kingdom, Europe, and Asia as a recognized in aesthetic surgery. Because of his experience he has been invited to speak around the world. In addition to his artistic surgical skills, he has gained particular expertise in his use of combined techniques for facial and skin rejuvenation. He is famous for his innovative uses of mechanical, chemical, light, and injectables with or without surgery to achieve spectacular and natural results in his patients of all skin types. Dr. Fred currently lectures extensively on a wide range of topics around the world and is an active consultant to the healthcare and aesthetic spa industry. He is a dynamic, clear-thinking and entertaining presenter. He has brought all of the skills and experience from years of creating beauty to the Jersey Shore, where he and his wife have chosen to raise their two children. Dr. Fred has many interests outside of medicine, as well. He is an entrepreneur, speaks fluent Spanish, has studied film, has performed regularly as a percussionist, and is an aspiring novelist.
