Nationally ranked among 2011-2012 "Top Doctors" by the US News & World Report. Dr. Frank C. DeGiacomo was born in Portchester, New York. He is a graduate of Dartmouth College and Harvard Medical School. Dr. DeGiacomo served his internship and residency at Bellevue Hospital Medical Center and University Hospital in New York City as well as a Cardiology Fellowship at West Roxbury V.A. Hospital in Boston. He was Director of Cardiology at Scott Air Force Medical Center in Belleville, Illinois from 1969-1971. Dr. DeGiacomo began his Passaic private practice in 1971. He has been an attending physician at Beth Israel and Passaic General Hospitals and served as the Director of Cardiology at Beth Israel Hospital in Passaic. A member of the American Heart Association and the American Diabetic Association, he also presented scientific medical information at the American College of Physicians meetings. Dr. DeGiacomo is included in the National Consumers Survey's Book "New Jersey: Most Recommended Physicians." Dr. DeGiacomo currently lives in Clifton, NJ. He enjoys all outdoor activities, especially gardening. He is also a sports enthusiast, being an especially avid baseball fan. Dr. DeGiacomo has been practicing internal medicine and cardiology in his community for more than 30 years. High blood pressure and elevated cholesterol are his special interests. He also performs non-invasive cardiac studies including stress tests and 24-hour heart rhythm monitoring. Dr. DeGiacomo is the recipient of Passaic Heart Fund Outstanding Achievement award and the Congressional Salute and Certificate of Merit.
