Francine Blei, MD, MBA, Professor of Pediatrics, is board-certified in Pediatrics and Pediatric Hematology-Oncology. She is Medical Director of the Vascular Birthmark Institute in New York City. She has published over 60 manuscripts, mostly vascular anomalies-related, including several chapters in major medical textbooks. She recently coauthored with a colleague who has a vascular malformation, "100 Questions and Answers About Vascular Anomalies," a practical book (and Kindle e-book) for patients and families affected by these disorders. She is Associate Editor of the journal Lymphatic Research and Biology, is on the Medical Advisory Board of the National Organization of Vascular Anomalies (NOVA), and the Scientific Committee of the International Society for the Study of Vascular Anomalies (ISSVA). Dr. Blei is listed in Castle Connolly and New York Magazine "Top Doctors." She holds a BA from Duke University, an MD from Sackler School of Medicine (Tel Aviv, Israel) and an MBA from the Leonard Stern School of Business of New York University.
