Dr. Mystakas, one of the founding members of Lebanon Orthopaedic Associates, was board certified by the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgery in 1975. He received his Doctor of Medicine Degree from Athens University at Athens, Greece, in 1966. His general medicine and surgical internship was served at St. Francis Hospital, Illinois, and Worcester City Hospital, Massachusetts.
He completed residency training in orthopedic surgery at the Albert Einstein Medical Center and the Shriner's Hospital for Crippled Children in Philadelphia in 1973.
Since 1973, Dr. Mystakas has been an attending Orthopedic Surgeon at the Good Samaritan Hospital and the Hyman S. Caplan Pavilion. He has served as Assistant Clinical Professor of Surgery and Anatomy at the Milton S. Hershey Medical Center. He has also acted as Chief of Surgery and Chief of the Medical Staff at the Good Samaritan Hospital.
