Dr. F. Earl Scott is board-certified in surgery with an additional certification in surgical critical care. He is a graduate of the University of South Carolina School of Medicine. He completed his general surgery residency at William Beaumont Army Medical Center at Fort Bliss, TX. He completed his trauma/surgical critical care fellowship at the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center. Dr. Scott has worked as a trauma surgeon at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA (a Level 1 trauma center). He has also worked at the Level 2 trauma center in Tacoma, WA (the Tacoma Trauma Trust). He has served with the Active Duty Army and the Army Reserves. This includes 2 tours of duty as a trauma surgeon in Iraq.
