Dr. Filamer (Fil)?Kabigting is an Assistant Professor of Dermatology at Columbia University Medical Center. Dr. Kabigting is a dual board-certified dermatologist and dermatopathologist who specializes in medical and cosmetic dermatology.Dr. Kabigting will expand the clinical activities of the department specfically in the areas of adult general and cosmetic dermatology, managing all conditions of the skin, hair and nails including acne, psoriasis, eczema, and skin allergies.?Dr. Kabigting graduated from Stanford University on full-scholarship where he majored in Human Biology, then was awarded a Fulbright Scholarship before attending medical school at UC San Diego where he earned?both his M.D.?and a Master's in Clinical Research while concurrently completing a Clinical Research Fellowship at the UCSD Division of Dermatology.?Dr. Kabigting completed his internship in Internal Medicine at North Shore-Long Island Jewish Hospital and residency training in Dermatology at Mount Sinai/St. Luke?s-Roosevelt Hospital Center where he was selected as Chief Resident. He subsequently completed fellowship training in Dermatopathology at the Ackerman Academy of Dermatopathology.Dr. Kabigting is accepting new patients, including same-day or walk-in appointments.
