Dr. Ferdinand Addo is a board-certified hematologist, oncologist specializing in the treatment of blood disorders and cancer. He has a special interest in cancer prevention, early detection of cancer, and cancer control. He has practiced in the Bismarck area since 1991. He currently has offices in Bismarck and Dickinson.
Dr. Addo received his medical training at the University of Ghana Medical School. He had post graduate training at the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital in Ghana, Mount Vernon Hospital in New York, Howard University Hospital in Washington DC, and fellowship training at the Washington Hospital Center in Washington D.C. He taught hematology and oncology at the Howard University College of Medicine and the George Washington University/Washington Hospital Center before moving to Bismarck.
He is a fellow of the American College of Physicians, a member of the American Society of Hematology, the American Society of Clinical Oncology, and the American Academy of Hospice and Palliative Medicine. He has published several papers and given several lectures.
